To measure Crystal’s environmental impact we count CO2 emissions saved by our green portfolio.
In partnership with local expert groups, we developed a calculator in 2018 which estimated the savings facilitated by our green product line. We confirmed that Crystal has helped to save 2,493,154 kilowatt (kW) of energy and 354 tons of CO2 through its 6,186 ‘green’ products issued in 2018.
Using the same calculator, we estimated that Crystal saved 417 tonnes of CO2 in 2019 We plan to understand the overall environmental footprint produced by Crystal through its operations and investment activities in order to set up the long-term carbon-neutrality goals.
