A Step Toward Strengthening International Partnerships – Crystal Participates in FMO-Initiated  “Future of Finance” Conference

Microbank Crystal took part in a meeting organized at the initiative of the Dutch Development Bank (FMO). The event brought together organizations that have collaborated with FMO for many years, creating a platform for sharing experience and exploring new opportunities.

Crystal’s CEO, Ilia Revia, presented to participants the company’s recent banking transformation and shared new initiatives planned to further support business clients.

“Crystal’s partnership with FMO dates back to 2017. Over the years, our joint initiatives have played an important role not only in the company’s strategic development but also in strengthening Georgia’s financial system. FMO has long been a loyal partner for us. This cooperation has been crucial both in mobilizing financial resources and in sharing knowledge and international expertise. Thanks to this support, we have been able to build a sustainable financial institution, which today continues its operations in the format of a microbank. Today’s meeting was a unique opportunity for us to share the results of our banking transformation and to set new plans for future collaboration, which will further strengthen our relationship, support business growth, and contribute to the country’s economic progress,” – stated Ilia Revia, CEO of Crystal.

Over the years, FMO has supported Crystal not only with financial resources but also with technical assistances exceeding EUR 600,000. Joint programs have been launched to support small and medium-sized enterprises, several projects have been implemented to promote women’s entrepreneurship, and with FMO’s technical assistance, Crystal has introduced modern practices in risk management and corporate governance.
