At the annual “Corporate Sustainability Award – Business for Sustainable Development” competition, organized by the UN Global Compact Network Georgia, Microbank Crystal was honored with a special award.
This recognition celebrates companies that have demonstrated the highest level of engagement in the initiative over the years, consistently sharing their progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the business community and the public, and being multiple-time winners of the Corporate Sustainability Award.
Over the years, Crystal has received numerous awards for its commitment to environmental and social responsibility, as well as for its efforts to empower women entrepreneurs. These include:
- 2019 Award in the category of Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment (SDG #5);
- 2020 Award in the category of Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG #12) for the “Green Financing” project;
- 2023 Award in the category of Reduced Inequalities (SDG #10), recognizing a diverse range of initiatives and projects the company implements to support women entrepreneurs in the large business category.
Since 2018, the UN Global Compact Network Georgia has been organizing the Corporate Sustainability Award, which aims to identify and promote sustainability-oriented and responsible companies and projects operating in Georgia.
