Nino Karazanashvili is the Head of Internal Audit in Crystal. During her professional experience, she led different functions as in private as well as in public sectors, focusing on finance, internal controls, risk and organisational management, training program development and capacity building. Before joining Crystal she led the Department of Internal Audit in Ministry of Defence of Georgia for almost six years and have built up it with the committed team that delivered risk-based audit plans and complemented to the effectiveness of the operations of the Ministry. For her work she was honoured to receive appreciation of the work by the Minister of Defence three times and medal for Irreproachable Service in the System of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia (III degree). As a result of accumulated experience and close cooperation with international partners, she has been invited as a speaker and trainer both locally and internationally. Currently, she is involved in public internal audit certification programme development.

Nino holds BBA and MBA in General Management from Tbilisi European School of Management and MBA in Finance from Le Roches International School of Hotel Management. She holds globally recognized internal audit certification – Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Currently she is engaged in her doctoral work in Social Sciences at Georgian Institute of Public Affairs.
